The first stage that is required is the introduction phase. This, of course, is when the product was first brought onto the market. Much advertising and benefit focusing was required in this stage. The growth stage is next in line to happen. If your product is successful, you will see it sell and you will have profits go up. The next stage is called the maturity stage. This is where your sales and profits start to level off. And last is the decline stage. We know this as the end. A high quality, needed product will have a much longer life cycle than something that a person doesn't need to live. Keep that in mind when presenting your new product to the marketplace. Marketing should also include competitive analysis. You will keep in mind who your competition is during your journey. Have your product different than your competitor's products. Notice what you have the same, but focus on your differences. Again, when you are advertising this product to the public, focus on what is different about your product and how that can benefit the consumer. Here are a few questions to ask yourself when participating in new product marketing. Is my product unique? Who will use my product? Will my product be a good price to purchase?
